Saturday 10th April – Cyanotype Printing– materials included. $99 (inc GST) Cyanotype printing is a chemical process working with sunlight, specially coated paper and an array of any object capable of producing shadows including freshly cut or dried plants, stones, wire, toys, sand, string, feathers, images, lace, digital negatives, shells, leaves, twigs and even stencils. Annette has an extensive knowledge of art and design fundamentals and is skilled in drawing and watercolour painting. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Art (Curtin University, WA) and an Advanced Certificate in Art and Design (Yallourn College of Technical and Further Education, VIC). Annette is a sought after art teacher, having tutored for 22 years at TAFE, Artist Network University and the Royal Qld Art Society as well as tutoring various regional art workshops. Annette operates an art studio, has been an artist in residence in Yorkshire, UK, and has a host of awards including first and second prize in consecutive years at the d’Arcy Doyle Awards (2009 and 2010), and a finalist in the prestigious Tattersall’s Landscape Prize and International Artist Magazine.
